Ms. Mary Gunnell, Orchestra Director Cram Middle School

Originally from West Michigan, I hold degrees from Grand Valley State University, Central Michigan University, Advanced Studies Certificates from Touro University’s Nevada campus, and am one of few music educators selected to take part in the Julliard Conducting Workshop. Now in my 9th year at Cram and 15th of teaching, I have taught courses in guitar, music appreciation, orchestra, band, choir, and elementary music as well as being active in musical theater and accompanying. In addition, I teach piano and violin privately, am former PTSA Secretary for Cram Middle School, CTE Ambassador for Cram MS and perform in the community. Part of being a good music educator is learning and evolving including being well versed in online education programs such as Google Classroom and music education platforms, so that your best can always be given to those you teach.
